Double slashes and thin stripes of rich red mark the upper trio of petals with a paler reflection in the lower petals in a single surround of the lime-green center.
Usually blooms 5-8 weeks after planted. Each Amaryllis bulb will produce a succession of two thick stems, 20-24” tall, topped with a bouquet of 4-5 intensely colored, outward-facing flowers. They may be kept for years as a potted houseplant with a leafy summer growth and regular winter bloom.
