Pink buds open to cherry-red petals with a bluish heart edged in white, closing at night and on cloudy days. Miniature, delicate looking and showy, but a super strong choice that naturalizes well.
Tulips are colorful and striking, bridging the gap from early spring to summer. They make excellent, long-lasting cut flowers, adding a dramatic flair to any arrangement. With the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species tulips, most will not bloom in the second year and are often planted as annuals. Combine with Narcissus to protect from investigating squirrels and voles.
