Statuesque and handsome on thick green stems, the starry, deep rose-purple florets with lime green eyes are arranged into a soft, globe-shaped cluster. An amazingly tough plant that naturalizes well in the garden with long-lasting blooms that persist well into summer. Superb cut flower for both fresh and dried arrangements. A. aflatunense x A. macleanii
Alliums finish the bulb season with an explosion of intense color and excel as cut flowers. They must have well-drained soil and pair well with roses, perennials and ornamental grasses which prevent the bulbs from getting too wet during dormancy. Attracts bees, butterflies and other pollinators; deer and rabbit resistant.
