Create handmade fired clay ornaments that are sure to become a cherished holiday decoration for years to come. In this workshop, you will carve at least eight red clay ornaments with assistance from professional ceramicist and artist Caitlin Allen of caitlinallenstudio.com. You will use botanical tracings and traditional carving tools to create botanical imprints in the clay and add floral detail with slip. Caitlin will take all of the ornaments to be kiln fired for durability and finishing and they will be available for pickup one week after the class.
