A golden eye nestles deeply among the dark red, cupped petals which lighten slightly with time to a muted magenta. Diminutive and free-flowering, the Dahlietta series produces big blooms in small spaces. May be treated as a season-long annual or tender bulb. Dahlias growing in containers should be brought inside before mid-September. For those in the garden: dig, dry, and store bulbs two weeks after a killing frost or mid-November, whichever comes first. aka ‘Patty ’23’
