Kusamono is the Japanese botanical art of potting an arrangement of wild grasses and flowers in shallow trays or objects to suggest a season or place. In this workshop, students will create their own indoor Kusamono-style arrangement in a piece of real Mississippi River driftwood using leafy plants, moss, and ferns. Students will leave with a one-of-a-kind arrangement that is suitable for indoor display. All supplies are provided.
