Join artist Emily Choi to create a loquat tree branch and a Warbling white-eye bird. This class focuses on the traditional East Asian folk art dedicated to painting birds and botanicals known as wha-jo-wha. Emily will share the best practices for painting with watercolor as well as provide the historical background of this traditional creation. These paintings were created to bring good luck to your home and family which is fitting for the Chinese New Year. All supplies are included, and you will leave with your completed painting on premium watercolor paper.
