Experience the fun of blending essential oils and pouring your own candle in this summer candle workshop. Students will learn about why citronella repels summer bugs, the basics of using and sourcing essential oils, wicking a three-wick candle, and the science of candle pouring. Pure citronella oil will be available to add to your candle if you plan to use yours outdoors, as well as many more summer scents like lemongrass, blood orange, and clary sage. Students will create a 12oz three-wick candle in a modern ceramic container. Candles take time to cure and will be available for pick up a week after class.
