Watercolor Retreat for Beginners

This retreat is an all-day deep dive into the basics of watercolor painting with artist and gardener, Amy Woods. You will get to know your palette, practice brush techniques, and learn how to mix colors. The day will start with learning the basics of painting with watercolors and creative exercises to get you comfortable with the medium. There will be a lunch break that includes a delicious, boxed lunch from Bowood by Niche. The afternoon will be spent focused on creating colorways, mark making and painting botanical leaf shapes with your watercolor brush. All supplies are provided. This workshop is geared towards beginners, but all skill levels are welcome. Lunch selections will be made with Holly after registration and registration will close on April 17^th.
