Experience the fun of blending essential oils and creating your own candle and bug spray in this workshop with Annie Rocchio. Students will learn about why citronella repels summer bugs, the basics of using and sourcing essential oils, and the science of candle pouring. Pure citronella oil will be available to add to your candle as well as many more summer scents like lemongrass, blood orange, and clary sage. Students will create a 12oz three-wick candle in a modern ceramic container and a spray bottle of repellent. Candles take time to cure and will be available for pick up a week after class.
