An extremely popular heirloom with huge, spherical, light magenta flower umbels that unfold like a slow-motion firework. Light and airy when in bloom and followed by lovely seedpods on sturdy stems that persist in the garden or may be cut for dried arrangements.
Alliums finish the bulb season with an explosion of intense color and excel as cut flowers. They must have well-drained soil and pair well with roses, perennials and ornamental grasses which prevent the bulbs from getting too wet during dormancy. Attracts bees, butterflies and other pollinators; deer and rabbit resistant.
