White, pea-like blooms appear all along the twisting and cascading branches before the chartreuse leaves appear. Heart-shaped foliage turns light green in summer and then yellow for fall; a lovely, sculptural, four-season specimen. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies; deer resistant.
