Crinkly, dark green leaves necessary for the perfect Cuban cocktail, with a mild, warm flavor and none of the sweetness and pungency of regular spearmint. Upright stems with spikes of small white flowers in summer. Attracts pollinators but is deer and rabbit resistant. Spreads aggressively by rhizomes and is best grown in large containers or sited where it is limited by hardscape and/or allowed to spread as a groundcover.
