Amaryllis / Hippeastrum spp.
Elegantly feathered with raspberry red toward the center, the overlapping, outward-facing, pale pink petals resemble sculpted marzipan.
Each Amaryllis bulb will produce a succession of two thick stems, 20-24” tall, topped with a bouquet of 4-5 intensely colored, outward-facing flowers. They may be kept for years as a potted houseplant with a leafy summer growth and regular winter bloom. See our Bowood Plant Care Guide "Planting Amaryllis Bulbs" for after-bloom care.
