Abundant, deep purple, ruffled petals in a pouf of dramatic peony-like splendor, this strong stemmed, sweetly fragrant choice is drop-dead gorgeous. May need some protection from strong winds
Tulips are colorful and striking, bridging the gap from early spring to summer. They make excellent, long-lasting cut flowers, adding a dramatic flair to any arrangement. With the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species tulips, most will not bloom in the second year and are often planted as annuals. Combine with Narcissus to protect from investigating squirrels and voles.
