Smooth green leaves are flushed purple when young; tall spikes of hot pink flowers emerge from purple bracts. Beautiful cut flower and excellent long-blooming pollinator attractor. A cross between camphor basil and dark opal basil, with a unique, earthy and spicy taste suitable for adding to fruit teas, mocktails, or as an ingredient in more ambitious culinary creations. Cut back to continue edible flower production; does not set seed.
