Broad, palm-like, lime green leaves with tiny sharp spikes are distinctively striped down the middle with varying creamy white bands. A dense spire of purple and blue bracts on a hot pink stem makes this Bullis hybrid a colorful choice. Exotic but easy to care for in well-drained medium; central vase must be kept full and the water replaced periodically. After blooming the plant will produce a pup or offshoot which, with patience, will mature to a flowering plant in one to three years. Variegated hybrid of Aechmea ‘Del Mar’
