Varieties of prayer plants with thin, lightly pleated oval leaves that may be marked in different patterns: rabbit-tracks, heart-shapes, alligator zig-zags, lines, or borders - all in shades of green, burgundy, chartreuse, purple, or bright red. New leaves appear as a green rolled-up tube. Low-growing and colorful, with leaves that close upward at night like hands lifted up to pray. Performs well in bright, indirect light, consistently moist soil, warm temperatures and high humidity. A large selection of different Maranta spp.
