Take inspiration from iconic St. Louis-style architecture to create a colorful city neighborhood illustration. You will be provided with a simple tracing to start, then Holly will guide you step-by-step to add detail and color to take your drawing to the next level. This basic illustration class is perfect for beginners who are interested in expanding their drawing abilities. You will utilize many tools – pencil, archival ink pens, white gel pen, and water-based markers – to add layers and interest. Students will take home a completed drawing on mixed media paper, as well as new skills to add life to their personal artwork.
