Join calligrapher and engraving artist Emma Vonder Haar for a live demonstration of hand engraving on metal and glass. Bring an item from home (e.g. a glass, fragrance bottle, or metal water bottle) to be engraved live during class. Emma will walk through the full process, laying out a design, controlling the tool, and working across curved and reflective surfaces, while explaining how this craft connects to techniques used in calligraphy. This class is a demonstration, but everyone will receive a free complimentary engraving. Come with your questions and leave with your one-of-a-kind engraved item!
