Lance-like glossy dark green leaves gracefully arch on thin, stiff stems in a strongly upright display. As befits its common name, this is one plant that tolerates whatever it encounters: a wide range of temperatures, low light, minimum humidity, and even irregular watering. Slow-growing; happiest in bright indirect light, with moderate watering spring to fall, reducing during its winter rest, and a minimum temperature of 50˚ in winter.
