Dainty round, matte green leaves are mottled with pink and white along zig-zagging red branches. Native to the tropical Pacific Islands this small shrubby plant is prone to leaf drop in the dry condition of most houses during winter; happier in a humid, cool but frost-free location such as a sunroom or greenhouse. Younger, smaller plants are excellent choices for terrariums.
