Out-sized, fluorescent pink bract is flat, feather-shaped, and decorated in summer with cinnamon-scented, violet flowers. Spiky sprays of narrow green leaves emerge from a burgundy colored base in this relatively compact plant. An unusual epiphyte that thrives as a houseplant even though it has an aerial home in the rainforests of Ecuador. Likes misting, fast-draining medium, and regular moisture.
