Butterfly Broderie Perse Embroidery

Join Paris couture trained embroidery designer, Susan Geiger from Galore Atelier in this Broderie Perse workshop. Broderie Perse became popular in 17th century Europe and is a technique where floral, bird and butterfly motifs were cut out of Chintz fabric and embroidered onto a background fabric. You will learn thread embroidery basics to create a unique piece. All supplies are included including the fabrics, hoop, needles, embroidery floss, beads and a ceramic dish. Please note there will be a break for lunch on your own from 12-12:30pm.
