Long succulent streamers of sharply hook-shaped, bluish, gray green leaves form a fast-growing, dense curtain, especially if trimmings are replanted in the same pot. Throughout its native southwest Africa it grows as a dense creeping groundcover, rooting as it spreads. Indoors in our temperate climates, it will spill luxuriantly from a hanging basket or planter placed on a shelf. Tends to prefer slightly more water and shade than other succulents. White, cinnamon-scented flowers may appear in the fall. Charming and tactile, but be careful: toxic to humans and pets and sap may cause skin irritation. Curio radicans aka Senecio radicans glauca
