With gracefully arching clustered stems, this clumping palm is easily identified by its distinctive shaggy leaflets that resemble the fins and tails of a fancy goldfish. Thrives in humid, warm temperatures but is one of the easiest indoor palms to grow, requiring little care as long as it is allowed to dry out slightly between waterings. Although easily divided it looks its best with multiple stems and only becomes more lush and eye-catching as it matures. Caryota mitis
