Classic florist favorite in bright shades of violet-blue, peach, deep rose, and pale yellow. Tall and long-lasting, they make a great addition in the back of a border or for large arrangements. Start inside or plant directly in the garden after April 15th. In the fall, after foliage yellows but before first hard frost, dig up plants, cut off stems and leaves; separate the cormels (the new babies) from the corms and store them all for the winter in vermiculite or other dry medium in a cool, frost-free location. Deer resistant.
