Join artist Emily Choi to create a colorful botanical painting with gouache paints. Gouache has traditionally been a popular tool for professional illustrators and botanical painters due to its versatile and precise qualities. In this class, students will learn how to use the flat wash technique, how to create a successful overlayer, and new techniques such as spattering and adding texture using plastic wrap. All supplies are included, and you will leave with a completed painting on premium paper.
