Known as The Star of Bethlehem, Ornithogalum is named for their highly ornamental white or vibrant orange star shaped flowers. Although plants technically are perennial, they can be somewhat invasive so we recommend keeping them indoors. Easy to grow, Ornithogalum thrive in bright direct or indirect light in well-draining soils. Let plants dry out slightly between waterings to avoid root rot. Bladed grasslike foliage showcases nicely against ornamental blooms in late Spring through Early Summer.
