Five-fingered leaves emerge purplish, turn dark green for summer, then turn brilliant crimson, burgundy, and purple for fall. Tiny flowers give way to persistent blue-black berries loved by songbirds. A vigorous cling-tight vine which needs a large space to climb upward. Deer resistant.
