Lemony leaves with lime green skeleton-like veins unfurl into intricately cut, large curly-fingered hands that deepen to emerald green. Glossy and impressive on their tall, stiff petioles, the leaves arch out into a room adding a tropical feel. Semi-woody and shrub-like, in its native habitat it will often send down aerial roots for support and may also climb by attaching itself to nearby trees with adventitious roots. This is a plant that will grow majestically horizontal with maturity: spreading outwards, yet keeping  its leaves held upright in a wreath-like form.
