Teeny-tiny green leaves have a distinctive mottled pattern that resembles a turtle’s shell. Thin reddish-purple stems trail and spill in a pretty cascading effect. Slow-growing, but benefits from regular pruning to keep from looking unkempt. Resembles a succulent but is actually in the ubiquitous Peperomia family. Excellent for terrariums and dish-gardens, they are slow-growing and semi-succulent, happy being rootbound and preferring a broad rather than deep pot. Peperomia prostrata
