Each glossy, dark cherry-red leaf-like flower (spathe) surrounds an upright central spike (spadix) that turns from bright chartreuse to delicate ivory gold, forming a dramatic contrast with the large, glossy dark leaves. Bred in the Netherlands for the large flowers and robust aspect of the Big American series. Leaves are toxic if ingested, may induce dermatitis, eye irritant; keep away from pets and children.
